Schwallungen

ReFood, owned by the German waste group Saria, built a large biogas plant in 2006 for treatment of source sorted municipal solid waste and industrial organic waste.

The capacity of the biogas plant is 60.000 t/year.

Bigadan has supplied process engineering, erected the process and machine equipment and commissioned the biogas plant.

Bigadan has cooperated with Refood since 1998 resulting in four biogas plants in Germany, so far.
